Scented wax paintings by London-based perfumer and olfactive artist Mabelle O’Rama. Each piece is made to be seen and smelled, with a fragrance composed for it alone.
Where a perfume tells its story on skin, these hold theirs in colour, texture and scent.
Each painting is made from soy wax, pigment and a fragrance composed for the piece, worked by hand onto a wood panel and finished in a hand-painted frame. No two are alike.
Like the perfumes, each work begins with a place or a memory. Would You Stay? recalls springtimes in a grandparents’ garden, with notes of mulberry juice, gardenia and thyme. See How Wide The Mediterranean Sea carries the breeze of Byblos, bright golden sun and jasmine.

Mabelle’s Olfactive Art was named a Finalist in the Innovation category of The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2025.
